Acupuncture is well known for its balancing effects on the acupuncture meridians and organs.

However, acupuncture treatments can also deeply affect the brain and its functions and perception of reality.

In big urban cities like New York City where the pace is fast, many people lose a sense of time being too busy planning for the future to do unfinished work from yesterday and worrying about future Life events.

In my clinic, Tree of  Life Acupuncture in NYC,  most patients with depression or anxiety are the once who do not live in the present.

Scalp acupuncture points do a good job to balance the mind into a proper time reference.

We all heard about living in the PRESENT. But what does it really mean?
A better question to ask is what it is like NOT to be in the PRESENT.

Dwelling on the past gives us DEPRESSION. Dwelling in the future invokes ANXIETY.
So the obvious choice is to live in the PRESENT!

In addition to acupuncture, I use PEMF TherapyBioresonance or Biofeedback therapy to strengthen the therapeutic effect.

What happens when you get lost in 3 dimensions at the same time? It happened to me. Once I was ignoring the past, worried about the future and not accepting reality.

The best starting point is to accept the reality, that gives you a foundation and a starting point.

I often see my acupuncture patients get a grasp on reality sometimes even in once single acupuncture session with a good selection of acupuncture points on the scalp (head) and other parts of the body.

Live in the present and enjoy life to the fullest.
