The fall season in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is associated with the Yin organ Lung and its paired Yang organ Large Intestine.

Lungs in Chinese Medicine are referred to as the "delicate organ" because they are easily affected by the cold or flu.

In Addition to Chinese Medicine, we offer Electromedicine Therapy options, which are effective for pain, stress, immune system, Lyme disease, and some holistic cancer therapies. (Read Below)

Lungs in Chinese medicine are referred to as the "delicate organ" because they are easily affected by the cold or flu. The left lung is smaller than the right one because it needs to accommodate the heart.

Prepare Your Immune System
for the Fall using our Services

Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and Cupping Therapy.

Seasonal selected acupuncture points and Chinese Herbs boost the immune system, regulate the lungs and defensive energy (Wei Chi).

 Chinese Cupping Therapy
Effective for stress, muscles tension and early stages of cold and even flu.

Bioresonance Therapy
Scans your body's electromagnetic energy and balances it to health.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent Reduce your pain and balance your body with specific healing frequencies.

PEMF Therapy  - Charges your body organs and cells with energy for self-healing and pain reduction. Approved by the FDA for pain, brain cancer, migraines etc.

Ozone Therapydeactivates fungus and bacteria, oxygenates the whole body for self-healing. Extensively used in Europe (Germany, Austria, Russian, India and Cuba for cancer and many chronic diseases).
Helps with digestion, skin problems and healing.

Lungs in acupuncture and Chinese medicine control the skin and open into the nose. Weather in New York City is not lungs friendly so we need to dress according to the everchanging climate. If you are poorly dressed, the wind can penetrate through the pores and affect your lungs with cold, fever, runny nose and later cough.

Food for Fall
Due to the air temperature is getting cooler, we all should eat warmer foods like a bit of chicken, meat or fish.

White colored and spicy food is good for the lungs and large intestine.

Ingestion in moderation or cooking with onions or garlic may benefit the lungs and so is eating white fish, or even white wine in moderation.

Emotions

Sadness or grief are the emotions associated with the lungs and large intestine. Acupuncture often releases blocked emotions freeing up the Qi circulation and removing energetic blockages.
Stay warm!
Be well,
Mark & Ginny
